Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Management: Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure efficient and safe transportation of goods.
- Load Handling: Properly secure, handle, and transport loads to prevent damage and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, confirm orders with customers, and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork and submit it to the office promptly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and necessary maintenance on the vehicle to keep it in optimal condition.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to road traffic regulations and company policies, ensuring safety and legal compliance at all times.
Requirements:
- Class 2 Driving License: Must hold a valid UK Class 2 moffet license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, particularly in the transport and logistics sector, is preferred.
- Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with the UK road network and ability to navigate efficiently.
