Hawksworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Security Architect to join our team. This is a senior-level position that requires significant experience as a Microsoft Security Architect.

The Role:

  • We are looking for a candidate who can work hybrid from Belfast, Tamp, or Chicago, or remotely from the UK with occasional travel to meetings.
  • The salary for this position is £100 - £120k.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT/Cloyd security, Azure, M365 environments, and Microsoft Defender.

The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will provide technical expertise in the secure design, implementation, and development of our M365 environment. The architect will develop and implement policies to ensure the security and availability of our M365 applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment for Hawksworth.
  • Lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies within the company.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft security suite, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.

The successful candidate will be well-versed in Azure cloud technology and migration, enabling them to bring immediate value to our Azure cloud adoption. They will also act as a leader to the security team and other technical teams within the company.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience as a Microsoft Security Architect in a blue-chip client.
  • Strong Azure experience.
  • Experience with cloud adoption projects.
  • Computer Science Bachelor's degree.
  • Good demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
  • Some experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud platforms.
  • CCSP and CCSK certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with CISSP, SSCP, CRISC, or CGEIT would be beneficial.
  • Experience as a MS Azure Cloud Architect or Engineer is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SOAR concepts and toolsets.
  • Authoritative understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles.
  • Working knowledge of encryption technologies.
