Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the children's home team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve outstanding outcomes for our young people.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards.
- Work closely with our safeguarding team to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless transitions and support for our young people.
- Contribute to the development of our children's home, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A QCF Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a children's home or similar setting.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to young people, with a focus on achieving outstanding outcomes.
