Pertemps is seeking dedicated Logistics Operatives to become part of our dynamic team, contributing to essential supply chain operations. This role involves full-time ongoing work, with shifts scheduled from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Duties Include:

  • Executing designated tasks such as order picking, packaging, consolidating, and preparing items for dispatch, as well as processing incoming goods, unpacking, verifying, and updating inventory records in the Warehouse Management System.
  • Performing administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to, order allocation and stock management.
  • Utilizing the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and completing other assigned computer-related tasks as necessary.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • A solid understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel, Word, and email.
  • The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to the role.
  • Previous experience with Forklift Trucks (FLT) is a plus, though not mandatory.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift hours are from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • No unspent criminal convictions and the ability to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check).
  • Capability to provide five years of reference contacts and proof of residency in the UK for the past five years.
  • Authorization to work in the UK.
