Energy and Infrastructure Projects Solicitor Opportunity

This leading law firm is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Associate to join its award-winning Edinburgh Projects team.

The Role

Working within this highly rated and Tier 1 ranked national Projects team, you can engage with the full range of matters, from construction, commercial and regulatory to funding and procurement. With the support of an award-winning team of skilled and experienced colleagues, you will advise clients on some of the most cutting-edge, large-scale energy and infrastructure projects in the UK and abroad.

Projects include massive infrastructure developments and re-developments, transportation networks, defence and renewable power projects spanning technologies across wind, solar, green-hydrogen, geothermal power, biomass and more. Further, as a senior member of the team, you can get involved in firm and departmental-wide business development, helping to strengthen existing relationships and develop new clients.

The Ideal Candidate
  1. Is an experienced lawyer with at least 3+ years of relevant PQE
  2. Can manage a varied caseload and work with a range of clients, engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  3. Enjoys a team environment and supporting junior colleagues in their development
  4. Is commercially aware and has strong technical knowledge
  5. Constantly seeks self-improvement and professional development
  6. Consummate business developer
