Adult Audiologist

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at InHealth, a leading provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions in the UK. As an Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audiology services to patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure timely diagnosis and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct standard and complex adult test procedures efficiently and effectively, adhering to current guidelines and best practice audiology techniques.
- Process and triage patient referrals in line with BSA guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely assessment of patient needs.
- Run quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Ensure due regard is given to the customs, values, and spiritual beliefs of patients, seeking their views and taking them into account in the delivery of care.
- Demonstrate safe and effective practice in line with company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional and clean working environment.
- Assist with the booking of patients as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in patient information systems.
- Maintain professional competencies and CPD, reporting incidents and complaints in line with company policy.
- Monitor essential stocks and re-order when required, adhering to the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
- Proven knowledge of the requirements of an Audiologist's role in the care of patients and colleagues.
- Computer literacy with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Proven competency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principle, with infection control training, manual handling, and patient transfer training.
- Masters or bachelors degree in Audiological Science or equivalent, with BAA/BSA part 1 and part 2, and membership of RCCP, BAA, HCPC, or relevant professional body.
