Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Our client, a leading Independent Insurance Broker, is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Build strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  2. Provide quotes for commercial business, including combined, liability, fleet, and package policies.
  3. Handle new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals, ensuring seamless customer service.
  4. Undertake full broking exercises on new business and renewals to secure the best possible outcomes.
  5. Liaise with insurers to find the most competitive terms and cover for clients.
  6. Present options to clients and negotiate premiums of £5k - 100k.
Requirements:
  1. Previous SME insurance experience is essential, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products.
  2. Live within commutable distance of the office or be willing to relocate.
  3. Proficiency in MS applications, including Excel and Word.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
