About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team at Randstad, working with the Pathways Leaving Care Team in Middlesbrough. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people leaving care, helping them navigate the challenges of independence and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of young people leaving care, ensuring their needs are assessed and addressed.
- Develop and implement Pathway Plans that promote independence, well-being, and positive outcomes.
- Support care leavers in accessing education, employment, housing, and other essential services.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and other professionals to coordinate services and resources.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to leaving care and child protection.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in a social work role, particularly working with care leavers or young people in care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with young people, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to leaving care and child protection.
