Position Overview
Are you skilled in BIM and digital delivery within the infrastructure domain and eager to elevate your career? We partner with clients to refine and improve their management of infrastructure projects. This position presents a significant opportunity to boost the efficiency of planning and executing major infrastructure initiatives while assisting clients in achieving their Net Zero goals through the effective use of BIM, information management, and digital solutions.

We collaborate with our broader organization to foster an innovative environment and ensure project success where BIM is integral to asset delivery and operation. Your role will be diverse, engaging with clients both externally and internally to advance the BIM process at organizational, program, and project levels through:
  • Understanding and discovery
  • Client adoption strategies and project setup
  • BIM execution planning for projects and programs
  • Implementation of BIM, information management, and supply chain oversight
  • Verification of BIM compliance and data validation
Key Responsibilities
The role of BIM Manager/Senior Consultant in our Infrastructure division encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, reflecting the diversity of our clients and projects:
  • Identify client requirements and develop a tailored BIM strategy
  • Create essential BIM documentation and workflows in line with industry standards
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of BIM within client organizations and across projects
  • Communicate BIM strategies, documentation, and workflows to stakeholders
  • Contribute to identifying and mitigating digital risks
  • Collaborate with clients, design teams, and contractors to apply BIM methodologies from strategy to project completion
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Conduct assurance reviews and clash detection of design models
  • Analyze project data against established requirements
  • Consider People, Process, and Technology to ensure a holistic approach to digital delivery and BIM across programs, projects, and organizations
  • Implement stringent quality procedures for version control and audit trails
  • Build and maintain client relationships, showcasing expertise as a BIM specialist to identify opportunities for support
  • Research and evaluate the potential for new and emerging technologies
  • Work independently or as part of high-performance teams
  • Provide assistance and training on digital technology usage
  • Stay updated on major industry trends and share insights with the team
  • Contribute to and potentially lead business development efforts (bids and proposals)
Qualifications
  • 2:1 Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or relevant professional experience
  • BIM or Information Management Certification
  • Progress towards professional membership/accreditation such as APM, CEng, BCS
Essential Requirements
  • Familiarity with ISO19650 and other BIM-related standards
  • Experience in BIM advisory and implementation on projects
  • Working knowledge of BIM documentation development and management
  • Proficiency with a Common Data Environment and related software
  • Experience with 3D modeling/review software such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, etc.
  • Understanding of project/program delivery environments including PMO
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, self-motivated, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities
  • Experience in one of our primary sectors (Defence, Transport, Natural Resources, Central/Secure Government)
  • Willingness to travel as necessary; T&T follows a hybrid working model based on project needs.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with data management technologies such as SQL
  • Understanding of reporting and dashboard software like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Interest or experience in Cyber and information security
  • Project Management certification (APM, Prince2, SAFe)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Background in Asset Management
