About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hospital Administrator to join our Administration Team at St Austell Community Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our clinical staff, including patient transport arrangements, bed status updates, and stock ordering.
- Liaise with other organisations, including acute services, to provide excellent customer care and support to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Manage patient movement and pathway duties, including receiving patients, checking details, and making appointments.
- Ensure prompt attention is given to enquiries from staff, patients, visitors, and colleagues from partner agencies.

Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office or similar applications.
- NVQ or RSA 2 or equivalent experience.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience of working in an administrative setting.
- Experience of using electronic and paper-based information systems.
