Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: £42,641 per annum
Shifts: 4 on 4 off (rotating week one 6am -6pm/ week two 6pm -6am)

DC Personnel is representing a client in Scotland that specializes in growing a wide range of vegetable and salad crops. This business has a strong family heritage and has expanded significantly over the years, serving the UK and international markets. Due to growth, they are now seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers to join their technical team. As the business operates 24/7, they require flexible staff members who can adapt to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This shift pattern offers longer holidays without using too many holiday allowances, allowing staff to take extended breaks. The team is friendly and welcoming, making it an attractive option for those looking for a work-life balance.

Your duties as Electrical Design Engineer:

  1. Assisting production with planned and reactive engineering solutions
  2. Managing planned preventative maintenance
  3. Managing lubrication schedules
  4. Reducing downtime
  5. Supporting ongoing improvement of plant productivity
  6. Assisting with the management of spare part stocks
  7. Supporting external contractors' installation works
  8. Monitoring machinery and ancillary plant during production
  9. Liaising with supervisors & managers to support the identification of potential issues
  10. Completing scheduled works required

Your background:

  1. Similar experience desirable
  2. 18th edition highly desirable
  3. CMMS experience highly desirable
  4. MHE qualifications/experience highly desirable
  5. Team player mentality
