Job Summary:

Bolt-On Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in a specialist manufacturer of highly precision machined parts and components. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production process.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Quality Inspector with a background in the Precision Engineering sector to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in measuring parts and components to tight tolerances, working with various measuring equipment including manual measuring equipment and CMMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Inspection of precision machined parts and components
  • Measuring to tight tolerances using manual measuring equipment and CMMs
  • Working from Engineering drawings

Requirements:

  • Able to operate CMMs (Aberlink would be ideal but not essential)
  • Experience of working with manual measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, gauges and calipers
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a state-of-the-art subcontract machine shop with a busy, clean and tidy environment. Working Hours:

The working hours for this role are 41.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 4pm, with lots of overtime available.
