About the Company: Our client is a leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country.
About the Role: We are seeking a Supervisor to join our team, responsible for achieving all pre-agreed KPI targets via the effective supervision of operatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving all pre-agreed KPI targets via the effective supervision of operatives.
- Monitoring, organising and directing operatives and subcontractors to ensure all agreed productivity levels are met.
- Building an excellent working relationship with clients and their designated partners.
- Ensuring all operatives work in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Carrying out pre and post inspections as required to raise accurate works.
- Checking the quality of works carried out.
- Ensuring operatives comply with all Health and Safety procedures.
- Managing and monitoring all work in progress to ensure effective service delivery is achieved.
- Addressing poor performance promptly.
- Reporting any accidents to the Health and Safety Manager immediately.
- Carrying out regular communication meetings with operatives and subcontractors, such as performance meetings, toolbox talks and one-to-ones.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A CSCS Card.
- SSSTS.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- FIRAS / FDIS / NVQ Qualification (Preferred).
- A proven track record in leading and delivering Fire Doors projects.
- IT Literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- The ability to understand client/contract requirements to maximise productivity and measure and improvement.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- A good understanding of H&S legislation.
- Experience of managing and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling.
