Job Title: Support Worker

Quarriers is seeking a Support Worker to join our team in North Ayrshire. As a Support Worker, you will provide support to adults with physical and/or learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and/or sensory challenges in their own homes, homes they live in with family, and out and about in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals to enable them to live fuller, happier lives.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals to access community activities, such as shopping, leisure activities, and social events.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans.

Requirements:

  • Ability to build long-lasting, trusting relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Compassion, kindness, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations.
  • Valid driving license and access to personal transport.
