In light of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Site Engineering Specialist to join our team for an exciting project.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Experience in surveying is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with clients on-site.
  • A valid and clean driving license is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • A valid CSCS Card (Gold/White/Black) is required; a Green CSCS laboring card is not sufficient.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RICS/ICES accreditation is advantageous.
  • A degree in a surveying-related discipline is preferred.

What will your responsibilities include?

  • Utilizing modern surveying techniques and equipment, including total stations, GNSS, and data collection tools.
  • Executing setting out tasks for various construction trades.
  • Establishing survey controls, setting out gridlines, and performing leveling and traversing tasks.
  • Addressing any unforeseen site challenges with support from the team and management.
  • Accurately documenting surveying data on-site in accordance with the specified requirements.
  • Processing field data in the office using software such as AutoCAD.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships to ensure we meet their expectations.
  • Verifying the quality of information gathered on-site and ensuring a smooth transition to deliverables.
  • Maintaining and caring for all surveying equipment.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Complying with site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
  • Performing any additional duties as required by the organization.
