Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team in a hospital-based setting. As an Optometrist at Newmedica, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern, hospital-based environment with a focus on clinical learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality eye care services to patients in a hospital setting
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose eye conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry

Requirements

  • Full qualification as an Optometrist (MCOptom or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a hospital eye service or private eye clinic setting
  • Knowledge of clinical practice and awareness of current developments in optometry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
