Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Psychology Graduate to join our team as an SEN Support Assistant in a top London Primary School.

Job Summary

This is a full-time term-time SEN Teaching Assistant role, commencing in September and running until the end of the academic year. You will work alongside qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide support to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adapt and explain work to students, helping them to focus and understand complex concepts.
  • Work with students who have Education Health Care Plans, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and engagement of all students.
Requirements

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate with a First-Class degree from a Top 20 UK University. Experience working with SEND children is desirable, but not essential. You will be a passionate and knowledgeable individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs.
