Job Summary

This role is a key member of the Product Development Team at Revvity, responsible for designing, performing, and interpreting experiments to support product development workstreams under the supervision of a line manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure experiments are well-organized and equipment is managed effectively to generate results in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of experiment preparation, maximizing time and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Manage data, experiments, reports, and lab books in accordance with Revvity's expectations.
  • Supervise new team members occasionally and carry out routine laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including regulatory and quality, on development projects.
  • Present reports to the development team and wider Revvity family.
Deliverables
  • Conduct and record experiments as defined by workstreams, meeting agreed timelines.
  • Communicate potential delays or issues with projects to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Travel to internal and external sites as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prioritize workload to meet key objectives agreed with supervisors.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Present data at internal meetings as required.
  • Ensure projects adhere to Revvity's Quality Management System and regulatory standards.
  • Write high-quality experimental reports reflecting data presented.
Requirements
  • Understanding of the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledge of assay development or molecular diagnostics.
  • Experience with flow cytometry.
  • Familiarity with Quality System concepts and requirements, including GMP and ISO systems.
  • Commitment to laboratory work, with a strong understanding of laboratory practices.
  • At least a BSc Degree or equivalent in a life science subject, preferably Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Biology.
  • Experience with T Cell/Antibody technology, ELISPOT, and ELISA.
  • Problem-solving experience and ability to critically assess data.
  • Knowledge of cell activation, cell culture, and Windows and Office applications.
