We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Workshop Repair Engineer to become a vital part of our engineering team.
As a Workshop Repair Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the repair of fleet assets meets both company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Workshop Service Manager in maintaining efficient operations within the Depot workshop, ensuring that repair KPIs for machines are consistently met.
- Perform both routine and complex repairs on machines at the depot, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
- Collaborate with the depot team to minimize the duration and frequency of machine repairs, aligning with depot KPIs.
- Serve as a representative of the company, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times. Address relevant customer inquiries to depot personnel as necessary.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, utilizing the company's engineering systems and applications.
- Update the system regarding changes in machine status, such as PDI/PHI completion, machines under repair, and completion of statutory inspections.
- Champion and ensure adherence to Quality, Health & Safety standards and policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- An IPAF Operator License.
- A relevant engineering maintenance qualification, ideally at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience in executing complex engineering repairs.
- A mature perspective with the ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure.
- A strong understanding of the significance of outstanding customer service.
- Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostic fault finding.
- Proficiency in using basic functions of the operating system (L-Vis) pertinent to the role.
- The capability to manage basic company administrative processes relevant to the position.
- Knowledge of safe and proper use of all equipment, tools, and PPE as required.
