Mechanical Supervisor Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead our team of skilled technicians in commercial and domestic environments. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage mechanical installations across commercial sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead a team of skilled plumbers & pipefitters, providing technical guidance and ensuring all work is carried out efficiently.
- Coordinate and supervise daily operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Monitor progress, address issues on-site, and provide technical support to the team.
- Prepare and manage job reports, maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in commercial settings, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Skills Required:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in both commercial and domestic environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Experience with budgeting and cost control in project management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide hands-on solutions when needed.
