Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to work as a KS1 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will have experience in KS1 and be able to deliver RWI phonics sessions. They will also be required to work with SEN children, assess individual learning needs, and positively manage challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver RWI phonics sessions to students
  • Work with SEN children to provide individualized support
  • Assess and meet the individual learning needs of pupils
  • Manage challenging behavior in a positive and supportive manner
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication
  • Supervise activities and provide guidance to students
  • Work with teachers to develop bespoke education plans for students
  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
