Job Description

Job Title: Document Control/Site Administrator

Company: Galldris Group

Location: Sizewell C, Leiston

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control/Site Administrator to join our Sizewell C team. The successful candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering or Construction and be able to manage the document control process on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively lead and manage document control on selected projects, being the first point of contact for all document control issues.
  • Update and maintain company share drive with all project documentation, including H&S and Q&A.
  • Manage weekly material/plant/waste returns.
  • Scan and file all site documents.
  • Prepare monthly environmental reports.
  • Update site drawing registers.
  • Onboard and secure new employees, including collecting and chasing operatives' paperwork, sending to Sizewell SVU Dept for clearance, and chasing operatives to respond to email once cleared.
  • Book visitors for temporary passes via VMS booking system.
  • Book deliveries on Datascope, chasing for correct information/booking forms from supply chain, dealing with questions from Sizewell, investigating transport failings/complaints from Sizewell, and distributing Sizewell protocols/haulier app instructions to supply chain.
  • Complete waste and materials trackers.
  • Arrange vehicle passes.
  • Maintain WIMS system of all workers, keeping records up to date, removing leavers, updating cards, etc. when expired.
  • Comply with Company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Document Controller, preferably with a Main Contractor.
  • Experience in the Construction Industry/working on-site.
  • Construction understanding and background.
  • Recognized Construction or technical discipline qualifications desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Excellent IT skills - Excel/Microsoft Word knowledge. Datascope & CEMAR experience desirable but full training will be given.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to deal with clients & internal staff. Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Meticulous, organized, proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Eye for Detail. Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
