Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off - Full-time, permanent roles
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable candidates eager to contribute significantly to our production operations. As part of a proactive team, you will be tasked with operating designated production machinery and performing essential maintenance, including equipment changeovers to meet product and production specifications.
Located at our Leythorne Nursery site, you will report directly to the Team Leader and play a crucial role in ensuring that customer standards are consistently met, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Adhering to established procedures in a fast-paced production setting, you will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Our Machine Operators collaborate closely with team members, assisting in all aspects of the production process, with primary responsibilities including the setup, safe operation, and monitoring of production machinery in designated areas. You will be expected to follow established protocols, uphold safety practices, and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained at all times.
Your work environment will be a fast-moving, fresh produce production facility with temperature-controlled conditions, typically ranging from 3°C to 5°C. Comprehensive training will be provided, covering Food Safety Level 2, allergen management, manual handling, and COSHH.

Candidate Requirements
We are particularly interested in candidates with prior experience in a factory or production environment, especially within the Fresh Produce or food-related sectors. Experience in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) or any production-based organization is also valuable.
