About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients in the Financial Services and Alternative Investment markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using C#/.Net or other object-oriented languages such as Java, Python or C++.
  • Work with SQL databases and have experience with Azure or AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage knowledge and exposure.
  • Exercise judgement and acumen to understand business needs beyond stated requirements.
  • Challenging current systems and processes to achieve common goals through technical excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Excellent programming and technology skills.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Azure or AWS experience.
  • Strong enthusiasm for programming and technology.
  • Entrepreneurial nature, willing to take ownership and tackle problems.
  • Ability to own all aspects of development projects from start to finish.
