About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Early Years Educator to join our dynamic team at The Learning Tree Nursery School. As part of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nursery provides exceptional childcare and early years education that meets the highest standards expected by parents, Ofsted, and Storal's values.

Your Responsibilities

  • Foster a love of learning through engaging and high-quality teaching aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Ensure all children's safety and well-being while providing them with rich and stimulating experiences.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the educator team, instilling Storal values and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Maintain consistent high-quality teaching across the nursery, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Effectively manage staffing ratios and create weekly staff rotas.
  • Contribute to attracting, hiring, and developing skilled educators who embody Storal values.
  • Deputize for the Nursery Manager in their absence.

About You

  • Possess an Early Years Education qualification to at least Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Have experience in a managerial role, including nursery administration.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Reflect Storal values of responsibility, openness, and collaboration.
  • Experience in providing staff training and support.
