About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our progressive school in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our teaching team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality teaching and pastoral care to students in Year 6, promoting a love of learning and a sense of belonging.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, focusing on academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents to ensure they are informed and engaged in their child's education.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
