Job Title: Deputy Head of Youth Work

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as Deputy Head of Youth Work. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of our 7-day offer of enriching and life-enhancing activities for young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 with additional needs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of our 7-day offer, ensuring a high-quality, creative, and fun experience for young people.
  • Coordinate and deliver the Salford Youth Zone Holiday programme during school holidays.
  • Deputise for Youth Work Managers across Juniors and Seniors as Session Lead, enhancing managerial skills by leading a team of part-time sessional workers and volunteers.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of sessions and contribute to the development of new offers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in youth work or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work face-to-face and plan for delivery.
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours.
