Financial Services PR Account Director

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned PR professional to join our team as a Financial Services PR Account Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR campaigns tailored to the financial services sector, enhancing brand reputation and achieving client-specific financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns tailored to the financial services sector.
  • Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals with financial expertise, empowering them to deliver exceptional results in the intricacies of finance-related PR.
  • Cultivate and nurture enduring relationships with financial services clients, serving as a trusted advisor, and ensuring their complex needs are met.
  • Oversee financial PR activities, including media relations, content creation, events, and social media engagement, ensuring alignment with industry nuances.
  • Vigilantly monitor campaign performance within the financial services domain and provide strategic recommendations for continual enhancement, including insights into market dynamics, equity and debt capital markets, and financial trends.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal teams and external financial partners to deliver integrated financial communication solutions.
  • Stay meticulously informed about financial industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovative PR techniques specific to financial services.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of managing financial client accounts, leading financial PR teams, and delivering measurable results in the financial services sector.
  • Proficient knowledge of financial markets, including equity and debt capital markets, M&A, and the impact of interest rate fluctuations on financial instruments.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Strong leadership abilities, inspiring and guiding teams toward excellence within the financial PR realm.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve complex financial communication challenges, and infuse creativity into financial PR strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multifaceted financial PR campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of the financial media landscape and evolving financial PR trends.
