Lead Educational Coordinator for General Practice Education

About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to fill the position of Educational Coordinator Lead for GP Education. This is a part-time post, with 2 programmed activities (8 hours) per week for 6 months, reducing to 1 programmed activity (4 hours) for the remaining 18 months of the post.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs for General Practitioners
  • Collaborate with the Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors (SCSCHF) to design and deliver educational content
  • Work with GP practices across NHS Forth Valley to develop and deliver educational programs
  • Provide support and guidance to General Practitioners in their educational development

Requirements

  • Eligible candidates should currently be a General Practitioner (GP)
  • Have a strong interest in Medical Education
  • Be committed to teamwork and collaboration
