Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a critical member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Deliver products to customers according to predetermined routes and schedules.
  • Unload products from trailers and transport them to designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Collect payments and process returns as necessary.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and trailers.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card.
  • Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience.
  • 1+ years foodservice distribution industry experience.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience.
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience.
