Ophthalmic Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a wide range of eye problems, from common complaints to rare conditions that require treatment not available elsewhere in the UK.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a streamlined, efficient, and effective service for patients attending the Moorfields Outpatients and Day Care facilities at Northwick Park Hospital. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high standard of patient care and will contribute positively to the team dynamics.
The successful candidate will be a supervisor to junior staff and will support the sister with the day-to-day running of the clinic. They will facilitate the provision of excellent nursing care and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of patient care.
Key Requirements- Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult)
- Extended /Advanced Ophthalmic Practice or working towards it
- Evidence of clinical/coaching skills
