Compliance and Approvals Engineer

A unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading brand in the electrical and electronic appliances industry.

The Compliance and Approvals team ensures that all products meet the legal requirements for all countries of sale, obtaining the necessary approvals or registrations in a timely manner. Key areas of focus include:

  • Radio Frequency
  • Basic Safety

As a member of the Compliance and Approvals team, you will focus primarily on safety, with a strong understanding of EMC and Radio test also being beneficial. We work closely with independent accredited test service providers to ensure a clear understanding of our route to compliance for innovative technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting safety pre-compliance, safety compliance, and other product-related testing
  • Evaluating test performance and providing feedback to project design teams regarding issues and/or risks with test results
  • Collaborating with the Compliance and Approvals Manager for major failures and test concerns

Preferred qualifications include previous experience in product regulatory compliance and/or work experience in product design. Basic experience working in laboratories testing and writing reports is also essential. Additionally, the ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics is required.
