Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a first-tier automotive setting and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Compensation includes a competitive salary along with shift allowances.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of the machinery on-site.
  • Assisting in the implementation and upkeep of proactive maintenance strategies for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  • Identifying root causes of issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conducting fault diagnosis and repairs on both electrical and mechanical systems, particularly in hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Replacing and repairing components across all machinery.
  • Integrating continuous improvement practices into daily operations to enhance cost efficiency.
  • Flexibility in shift work is essential.
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in PLC fault diagnosis with a strong electrical focus.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights.
  • Experience with robotics is advantageous.
  • A well-rounded background in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software disciplines.
