About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Prison Officers - Residential. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure supervision of those in our care.

As a Prison Officer - Residential, you will be responsible for encouraging positive behaviours in individuals, engaging with rehabilitation and reintegration initiatives, and contributing to the prevention and constructive management of challenging and/or difficult behaviours.

You will also be responsible for managing individuals' case work, exercising professional judgement in responding to particular needs and challenges, and identifying changes in individuals' physical and mental health.

In addition, you will contribute to effective operational risk management, ensuring the safe and secure supervision of those in SPS care, and managing conflict with a focus on de-escalation.

Please note that Prison Officers - Residential work on a rostered shift pattern, and you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
