Position Overview:

As a Primary Education Instructor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Classroom Oversight: Manage the classroom environment, ensuring a safe and supportive space that encourages the social and communicative growth of students.
  • Engaging Instruction: Provide exceptional teaching to pupils in the early years, utilizing innovative and effective resources to foster a passion for learning.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of national curriculum standards and adapt your teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Lesson Planning: Create and organize educational materials, programs, and assessment methods, including arrangements for student welfare.
  • Behavioral Guidance: Employ various strategies to promote and maintain positive behavior in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Assess, document, and communicate student development, progress, and achievements across academic, social, and personal areas.
  • Learning Environment: Sustain an organized, stimulating, and encouraging classroom atmosphere. Ensure that students' work is appreciated through effective displays and contribute to communal areas.
  • Support Staff Coordination: Oversee and assist any teaching assistants or support personnel assigned to your classroom.
  • Parental Engagement: Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
  • Professional Conduct: Arrive punctually, set a positive example for students, and collaborate effectively as part of the educational team.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time role (Minimum hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM).
  • Additional hours may be necessary for meetings, evaluations, and parent consultations.

Qualifications and Background Checks:

  • The ideal candidate must possess a UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT).
  • Provide verification of relevant teaching qualifications and references when requested.
  • Consent to 'Child Only' DBS checks as per our vetting protocols.
