Swimming Teacher Role

GLL is seeking a skilled Swimming Teacher to join our team at Robinson Pools and Fitness in Bedford.

As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing our customers' swimming skills, delivering safe and consistent lessons that give people real confidence in the water.

You will thrive on supporting individuals to achieve their potential, taking into account their nature and needs. With your knowledge of practices, progression, and teaching points, you will apply it in the most effective way.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public.
  • Complying with the commitments outlined in the 'Customer Charter', ensuring that standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring the safety and control of pupils within the swimming lesson and enforcing relevant regulations.
  • Actively encouraging pupils to enrol on further courses and short courses.
  • Assisting with new-enrolments and re-enrolments as required.
  • Understanding and following the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure & Behaviour policy.
  • Recording and completing relevant awards in line with expected standards.
  • Teaching to the standard set within the product manual to ensure a consistent approach.
