We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordination Engineer to join our team at EDF EPR Engineering UK. As a key member of our integrated team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project.
Key Responsibilities- Manage configuration management, overseeing design changes, open points, and interfaces to ensure consistency and optimisation across the project.
- Coordinate the technical aspects of design change management, piloting and facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders to achieve a cohesive and efficient design.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical issues, ensuring their resolution by bringing together multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Mentor and support colleagues throughout the business, contributing to both team and individual success.
- Several years of experience in one or more engineering disciplines, such as nuclear safety, electrical, mechanical, systems, civil, or layout.
- Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive approach, and strong influencing abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks, think logically, and remain focused on results.
