Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Access Arrangements Team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated, with a passion for providing exceptional support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate equal opportunities for students to showcase their skills and knowledge during examinations and assessments, adhering to guidelines set by awarding bodies and JCQ.
  • Collaborate with the College Educational Psychologist and Access Arrangements Assessors to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate databases, coordinating the necessary paperwork for students eligible for exam access arrangements.
  • Submit applications to exam boards for Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) across various assessments, ensuring compliance with JCQ deadlines.
  • Develop strong relationships with the ALS Lead Team, Teachers, Curriculum Teams, Administrative Staff, and the College Exams Officer to address all needs and ensure appropriate exam access arrangements are established.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 2 proficiency in English.
  • Educated to at least Level 3.
  • Possess a relevant qualification for the role.
  • Demonstrate excellent IT skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security in accordance with GDPR.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the barriers to learning faced by students.
