Job Opportunity for Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

Direct Medics is a leading provider of healthcare services, working with Psychology professionals to find new opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Psychologist to work with young people and their families in an eating disorders and related comorbidity service. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based approaches and be keen to engage in evidence-generating practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people
  • Apply evidence-based approaches to working with young people and their families
  • Engage in evidence-generating practice to inform service development
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Current HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent)
  • Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders and related comorbidities
  • Experience working with young people and their families (desirable)
  • Right to live and work in the UK
