Job Description

Anderselite LTD is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing designed and built projects up to £10M (M&E value) across various sectors, including commercial, residential, health, education, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain familiarisation of all project details, including design, drawings, and specification.
  • Attend pre-start meetings with main contractors.
  • Develop project programmes with key dates and issue technical submittals for approval.
  • Procure labour and subcontractor packages and materials, ensuring cost savings and meeting programme delivery requirements.
  • Maintain commercial responsibility, including value engineering and working with QS on variations.
  • Project planning and managing progress with site managers, ensuring compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure labour levels are met and materials are on site.
  • Work closely with electrical counterparts.
  • Populate quality reports and documentation required by main contractors.
  • Progress meetings with clients and subcontractors to monitor performance and quality.
  • Plan and monitor commissioning stages with site managers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure defects are kept to a minimum.
  • Formulate O&M manual information, working with internal admin and external O&M document builders.
  • Deliver whole projects to handover and final account stages.
Key Skills
  • Demonstrable record of managing multi-million-pound D&B projects as mechanical number 1.
  • Good all-round mechanical knowledge with relevant qualifications.
  • Effective planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.
  • Commercial awareness, taking full responsibility for financial performance of all mechanical elements.
  • Client-focused and professional.
  • Good people management and ability to motivate, lead, and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with knowledge of business systems such as 4Projects, Fieldview, and Business Collaborator.
Package

The annual salary for this role is negotiable, circa £60,000, depending on previous experience. In addition, there is a discretionary company bonus scheme, company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, PPE, and company clothing provided. Furthermore, 25 days' holiday plus stats, private healthcare, and a competitive pension plan are offered.
