About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Researcher to join our team at Spotless | B Corp®. As a Senior Design Researcher, you will play a key role in delivering projects for our clients, applying your practitioner skills on exciting challenges across industries, and working in multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute research across all stages of the design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality research projects from inception to completion, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand client challenges and develop innovative methodologies to address project objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform design decisions, creating clear and actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our research methods and processes.
  • Contribute to the development of new and evolving methods and processes, working closely with other agencies, recruiters, and consultants to ensure quality results.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of industry research experience, with a proven track record of leading research projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience and passion for gaming, with a good grounding in multiple types of video games (e.g. Live Service, Mobile, VR etc.) and an interest in gaming trends and news.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Behavioural Science, Service Design, or related fields, or relevant professional experience.
  • Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deliver in a fast-paced agency or business environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in championing human-centred design, design thinking, and innovation.
  • Robust understanding of a wide range of research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • High standard of report writing, with the ability to convey information concisely and effectively.
