About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands area. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for installing and maintaining our power solutions on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of power products on customer sites
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of power products on customer sites
  • Installation of temperature control products on customer sites
  • Commissioning of temperature control products on customer sites
  • Fitting data loggers and power analysers
  • Attending equipment breakdowns
Electrical Expertise
  • Delivering generator applications, including motor starting and variable voltage
  • Carrying out load testing using sigma PC software
  • Delivering no-break sync applications, including grid lock
  • Telemetry installation in the field
  • Basic electrical fault finding, up to 1500V DC and 1000V AC
  • Operating fleet load bank
  • Low-voltage switching, maintenance, isolation, and commissioning
  • Delivering TC/MC applications
Requirements
  • Technical capability in power and temperature control
  • City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (Mechanical and/or Electrical)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications
  • Ability to manage client expectations under pressure
  • Full, clean, and valid driving licence
  • Ability to work out of hours and be part of the on-call rota
