Job Title: Head of Sustainability

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Sustainability to join our team at Inhabit Group. As a key member of our Sustainability Team, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable and low-energy design projects in the built environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in green building assessment, sustainability assessment consultancy services, and a strong understanding of building physics. You will be responsible for leading the Sustainability Team to deliver sustainability assessment and design consultancy services within the built environment industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sustainability Team to deliver sustainability assessment and design consultancy services;
  • Conduct calculations, computer modelling, and prepare professional consultancy reports, proposals or presentations;
  • Project management, delivery and senior stakeholder management;
  • Business development for the Sustainability Team through new and existing client base;
  • Support work winning through bid support, innovation, client liaison, upskilling of colleagues and external profile-raising of Inhabit services;
  • Develop ongoing strategy to grow and develop Inhabit's Sustainability business offering;
Requirements
  • Degree holder in engineering/ science related to green building, civil & environmental, sustainability, building services, mechanical & electrical or equivalent;
  • Extensive experience in green building assessment, sustainability assessment consultancy services;
  • Experience of working on projects in the Middle East would be advantageous;
  • Experience of ASHRAE;
  • Maintain an established understanding of building physics such as thermal bridging, air movement, wind, solar, etc.
