About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Underley Garden School. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school by covering teacher and teaching assistant absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons to cover teacher absence, providing a high-quality learning experience for our students.
  • Support in classes across the school to cover teaching assistant absence, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure seamless planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Manage the behavior of students, maintaining a safe and inspiring learning environment.
  • Collect and return completed work and resources to the appropriate teacher or subject lead.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and teaching assistants to ensure a positive environment for all students.
  • Plan lessons when required, utilizing your expertise to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Take on the role of Exams Officer for our small cohort of students, ensuring the smooth administration of exams and assessments.
