About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Home Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being at all times.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the care home, responding to the needs of residents and staff.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, supporting the continuous improvement of our care services.
  • Adhere to our safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the protection and safety of residents and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care environment, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on resident-centered care.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
