About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Bar Assistant to join our team at Bannatyne Health Club in York. As a Cafe Bar Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving meals, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and serving
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for members and guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Upsell and promote products and services to increase revenue
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and provide a high-quality service
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a level 2 certificate is desirable
