Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at the North Islington Rehabilitation and Recovery Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients with complex depression and anxiety disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex depression and anxiety disorders.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members and students on psychiatric assessment and treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent higher qualification in psychiatry.
  • Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status (or eligibility).
  • Registered with the Royal College of Psychiatrists CPD programme and in good standing.
  • Experience in community psychiatry and a strong interest in working in a community setting.
Working Arrangements

This is a fixed-term position available for 11 months. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time and will be based at the North Islington Rehabilitation and Recovery Service.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £32,398 to £63,152 per annum, plus a London Zone 2-6 allowance of £2,162 per annum.
