About the Role:

GLL is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher to join our team at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre. As a Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to babies and toddlers, following our established program SWIMBiES.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and safe swimming lessons to babies and toddlers, adhering to our program's guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and welcoming learning environment, fostering a love for swimming in our young students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on lesson progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless lesson delivery and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in baby and pre-school swimming instruction.

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized qualification in baby and pre-school swimming instruction, such as STA Level 2 Award or Swim England Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming.
  • Experience working with babies and toddlers, as well as parents and guardians.
  • Understanding of child development and the importance of creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Ability to sing and lead songs and games suitable for baby swimming lessons.
