We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Support Worker to join our team in Ipswich. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live a more comfortable, dignified, and liberated life.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Individuals to Live Independently - assisting with budget management, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and preparing healthy meals.
- Relationship Building - fostering positive relationships and supporting individuals to understand the world around them.
- Community and Social Inclusion - facilitating access to local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
- Personal Care - assisting with daily living tasks, including prompting medication and supporting with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleep ins.
- Enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
