Job Summary:

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Group Platform Service and Engineering team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform
  • Develop and maintain IAC templates using Terraform
  • Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure security and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
  • Develop and maintain buildpacks and container images
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics
  • Work with the development community to automate existing pipeline automation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Knowledge and experience with AWS, Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GIT, Nexus, and Jira
  • Understanding of operating system fundamentals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
